2013 J. B. Sharp Series

The 89th J. B. Sharp Memorial Regatta Series was concluded at the Leichhardt Regatta on 11th August, 2013. The Series was an outstanding success with record participation and good weather. Congratulations to the rowers, officials, coaches and the record number clubs and schools for their participation, and in particular Glebe Rowing Club on winning the Series. Congratulations are also extended to:
  1. Glebe Rowing Club of winning the Sid Sharp Tray for the men's U16 & novice point score.
  2. Glebe Rowing Club of winning the Kevyn Webb OAM Cup for the men's Novice Scull point score.
  3. UTS Rowing Club of winning the Kayser Shield for the women's Open & Intermediate point score.
  4. Glebe & Sydney Rowing Clubs of winning the Glebe Centenary Shield for the men's Open & Intermediate point score.
  5. Mosman Rowing Club of winning the John Sharp Vase for the women's Novice & U16 point score.
  6. Glebe Rowing Club of winning the LEA Insurance Brokers Trophy for the women's Novice Scull point score.
  7. Helen Ritchie of North Shore Rowing Club on being awarded Trainee Boat Race Official of the Series.
  8. Josephine Duncan-Nagy of Glebe Rowing Club on winning the BMG Aviation $ 1,000 scholarship & female Beginner of the Series.
  9. Aaron Simmons of Central Tablelands Rowing Club on winning the male Beginner of the Series.
  10. Max Brenner of Sydney Rowing Club on winning the BMG Aviation $ 1,000 male scholarship.
  11. Anais Alonso of Sydney Rowing Club of winning the Walker and Hall Chalice for the Handicap Scull.
  12. Sydney Rowing Club on winning the $ 500 BMG Aviation Combined men's & women's U 16 Scull point score.
