Rowing NSW may at its discretion make an award for “Novice of the Year” to one or more competitors in his or her first season of competition in the Novice classification with the most outstanding record of performance. Clubs wishing to nominate a competitor for such an award must fill in all the details listed in this nomination form by Sunday 28 April 2019. Both constituent and registered members of RNSW are eligible to nominate.

This nomination form will include an area for you, in your own words, to outline how the nominee has made a significant contribution to rowing including any positions held, activities undertaken together with relevant dates..

As a guide you may wish to consider some of the following questions:

1. The nature of the benefit to rowing specifying the period over which the service was given.
2. The degree of individual application covering competition, administration, initiative and / or management.
3. The significance of the contribution to rowing in NSW.
4. What makes this person stand out from others?
