Published Tue 26 Jul 2022

For the first time in eight years, the Australian Rowing Masters Championships (ARMC) will return to the Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC) in Penrith from Thursday 1st June to Sunday 4th June 2023.

Australia’s best rowing competitors aged 27-plus will travel from all over Australia for the four-day event, which Rowing NSW is proud to be able to host at the iconic venue.

Penrith was the host of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Regatta and has been home to many Australian Rowing Championships (formerly Sydney International Rowing Regatta) and many Australian Rowing Masters Championships over the years.

Rowing Australia CEO Ian Robson said, “Masters Rowing is such an integral part of our sport. We had over 1000 Rowers that competed at this year’s regatta [in Nagambie, Victoria] and hope to see even more rowers taking part in our great sport next year in Sydney.”

NSW Rowing CEO Margot Harley said, “We are looking forward to hosting the Masters community again at SIRC, working with all of our clubs as well as the broader community and the great venue staff at the Office of Sport to create a successful event at the much-loved venue. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Penrith next June.”

The Rowing Australia website and the Australian Masters Rowing Championships Facebook Page will be the main point of communication for entries, timetables, photographs, videos and regatta news and updates.
