The Interstate School Pathway Program began in 2013 and has grown here in NSW and across the country.

The aim of the Pathways event is to expose school age rowers with potential, along with their coaches, to the next level of rowing.  It is a chance for young rowers to experience state selection processes and to compete against their school age counterparts from around the country.  It is an opportunity to work with high level coaches and to encourage school rowers to make the next step in their rowing pathway.

The Junior Pathway program is an opportunity for young rowers to gain valuable experience, both racing and performing at a state level against some of the best young rowers in Australia. A NSW Junior Pathway Team will be selected to represent NSW at the Junior Pathway regatta held annually at the Australian underage selection trials. The Junior selection trials will be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC) from 14-15 April 2025, with the pathways regatta being held from 14-15 April 2025. Being part of the program will give young rowers the experience of future rowing opportunities post school including Club rowing, State and Australian representation.
