Rowing NSW is pleased to present the draft regatta calendar for the 2024-25 season, as well as the proposed events to be run at each regatta:

Changes for 2024-25
This year’s calendar features some significant enhancements:
- More club events at Rowing NSW regattas
- By popular demand, we’re thrilled to offer more opportunities for club-level athletes to race competitively. This is a great opportunity for non-HP school leavers and club athletes to remain connected with the sport.
- More big boat racing at Rowing NSW regattas
- Big boats, big action – this season’s proposed calendar features more racing opportunities for eights and quads, including mixed crews.
- Rowing NSW's first ever Beach sprint regattas
- In partnership with World Rowing, Rowing NSW will host the Oceania Youth Beach Sprints Championships and the first-ever All Schools Beach Sprint Championships, kickstarting the development of young athletes who will eventually star at LA 2028, Brisbane 2032 and beyond.
The Spring Regatta has been provisionally cancelled for this year, due to a lack of interest and alignment with clubs’ and schools' training schedules.

Community feedback is important to Rowing NSW. The Club Regatta Forum (16 July 2024) and School Regatta Forum (25 July 2024) are your chance to provide feedback on this season’s proposed calendar and events.
Please note that these events are held virtually via Microsoft Teams. They are only open to Club presidents/captains, School program heads, Club + School coaches, and Club + School delegates. Registration is essential.
