Lizzi Chapman & Jason Baker OAM appointed as coaches for the 2021 Australian Para-rowing Team

Rowing Australia have announced the coaching appointments for the Australian Para-rowing Team for planned competition in 2021.

Lizzi Chapman has been appointed as the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four coach.

Lizzi coached Australia’s World Rowing Championship PR3 Mix4+ in 2018 and the same boat class to their best result to date (fourth place) at the 2019 World Championships. Lizzi is also active in the coaching and development of Para athletes domestically.

Lizzi is appointed as coach of the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four to Gavirate International Regatta and subsequent preparation for the Paralympics

Jason Baker OAM has been appointed as the PR1 Men's Single Scull coach.

Jason has an outstanding and longstanding record as coach of PR1 Men’s single sculler, Erik Horrie, including coaching Erik to five consecutive World Rowing Championship wins and a Paralympic silver medal.

Jason is appointed as coach of PR1 Men’s Single Scull to Gavirate International Regatta and subsequent preparation for the Paralympics.
