Day 2 saw many tight battles none more so than in the CMU21 8+ with every camera angle needed to determine the winner. With UTS Haberfield edging out rivals Sydney Rowing Club. Congratulations to all athletes who braved the heat and difficult afternoon conditions at SIRC on Saturday. Great to see the grandstand and the Bentley's bar at capacity for the Schoolboy and Schoolgirl 8s races before lunch. With St Ignatius Riverview taking a commanding victory with ease. Can anyone stop them from taking out the take out the Major Rennie Trophy this year?

St Catherine's held off a strong Queenwood outfit to take out the CSG 8+, with many of the St Catherine's girls repeating their efforts from last year's breakout win in the CWU17 8+.

Great to see an all NSW podium in the CWU21 1X with Sarah Fahd from UTS Haberfield managing to hold off a late surge from Zoe Bond (Sydney University) and Laura Sypher (Sydney Rowing Club) to clinch the Gold. Laura however was able to backup later that morning to take a commanding win in CWLU21 1X.

There was some Swick racing in the afternoon yesterday with challenging conditions adding drama to racing with the Australian Men's Double of Bartholot and Antill holding out a late attack from Sam Marsh and Cormac Kennedy-Leverett in the CMC 2X.
