In memory of our oarsmen who landed at Gallipoli in 1915, we share some of the war time letters and extracts from a diary written by Balmain Rowing Club oarsmen in Gallipoli.
Balmain Rowing club had up to eight oarsmen at the Gallipoli peninsula where they wrote about forming the “Dardanelles Eight”.
