NRRA Masters Championships - POSTPONED

Published Thu 25 Mar 2021

The Northern Rivers Rowing Association Masters Championships regatta has had to be postponed due to the recent flooding of the Clarence River.

The following is from Clare Millist, President, Lower Clarence:

The regatta site at present is deep under flood water and there is no way the land will be dry or safe enough to hold the regatta in two weeks time.

The landowner has asked us to postpone the event to a later date if possible.

There is no way we want to be tramping over his soggy land damaging his paddock. It would also be very dangerous carrying boats in slippery conditions.

The NRRA Committee will be exploring dates later in the season for the regatta.
