NSW Athletes in the Australian Junior Rowing Team

Six athletes from NSW clubs have been selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Rowing Championships to be held in Racice, Czech Republic from the 8th to the 12th of August 2018.

An all-NSW Junior Women's Coxed Four has been selected and consists of Ella Mentzines and Rachel Balcomb of Sydney University Boat Club and Lauren Graham and Isabelle Furrer of Sydney Rowing Club.  The crew will be coxed by Hannah Cowap and coached by Lachlan Carter, both also from Sydney Rowing Club.

Nicela Martincic, the two-time national champion in the Schoolgirl Single Scull has been selected in the Junior Women's Double Scull with Laura Chancellor of Toowong Rowing Club, Queensland.  The crew will be coached by Queensland Academy of Sport Head Coach, Ben Southwell.
