NSW Interstate Schools Pathways Eight 2022 | Expression of Interest

Rowing NSW invites girls and boys who will still be at school in May 2022 to nominate for the NSW state crew(s) to race in the national Schools Pathway Eights Regatta.

Information on the 2022 national Interstate Schools Pathway Eights competition can be found HERE.

Ergo test results are part of the nomination process for the 2022 Pathway Eights Program. With school restrictions preventing competition this term, self-directed ergo testing will be required. This can be done at home, school or club and a photo of the ergo monitor showing the results should be sent to Alan Bennett, State Team Manager at alan@rowingnsw.asn.au.

The following ergo tests need to be completed by the end of Term 4, 2021 with scores submitted to Rowing NSW by the following Saturday.

Nominations for the NSW schools Pathway Eights squad should be made using the online form below, providing the following information:

  • Full name
  • Date of Birth
  • Height
  • Weight
  • School / Rowing Club
  • Coach name, email address and mobile phone number
  • Parent name, email address and mobile phone number
  • Personal best 2km ergo score since January 2021 (including date, time, drag factor and average stroke rate)
  • 2021 season best racing results (regatta, event, placing and finish time)
  • Preferrered sweep side
