Official Bont Rowing Premiership Point Score Winner Announcement

Phew! That's a wrap on what has been a mammoth season that started all the way back in September with the first Iron Cove Classic. It was a tight tussel at the top with UTS Haberfield and Leichhardt storming away from the pack in the New Year. UTS Haberfield came out with a bang early in 2023 gaining almost 700 points in January and February alone thanks to a big showing at the Taree Summer Regatta and the 2023 NSW Rowing Championships.

Leichhardt always had a game plan in mind using the advantage of their strong masters program to come over the top and steal the Point Score late in the season. Unfortunately due to poor weather conditions at the Iron Cove Masters and the NSW Masters Championships valuable points went begging. Only 101 points separated the top 2 with UNSW Rowing coming away with 3rd, topping the overall point score in C & D Grade.

Rowing NSW would like to thank Bont Rowing for their counited support of the NSW rowing community and the Premiership. The team at Rowing NSW looks forward to doing this all again for the 2023-24 season, which is only just around the corner!
