Rowing NSW welcomes Michael McCrea to the Board of Directors

Rowing NSW is pleased to announce the election of Michael McCrea to the Rowing NSW Board following last Wednesday's 143rd Annual General Meeting of the Members of Rowing New South Wales Incorporated.

Michael McCrea has been a member of UTS Haberfield Rowing Club since 2017, starting his rowing journey at Leichhardt Rowing Club in 2012. Michael has represented NSW at the Interstate Regatta since 2018 and competes regularly at the NSW and Australian Championship Regattas. Michael became Captain of UTS Haberfield Rowing Club in 2020 whilst also volunteering at Rowing NSW regattas in the commentary box.

Michael McCrea will serve a three year term on the board with his tenure up for nomination in September 2024, fulfilling the director position left vacant by Adam Ramshaw.

Stephen Handley (Deputy President) and Deanna Fekete (Director) were both re-elected to the board and will remain in position until their term expires in September 2024.
