Rowing NSW Annual Awards - Call for Nominations - Season 2019/2020

While there have been some recent challenges and disruptions, this season has also seen many outstanding achievements and success stories from within the rowing community that Rowing NSW wants to make sure is still celebrated and recognised.

Please note; the awards would normally be presented at the Rowing NSW Presentation Evening however due to COVID-19 Rowing NSW are currently exploring some alternate options.

Nominations can be made for the following awards:

Novice of the Year – The Novice of the Year Award is awarded to one or more competitors in his or her first season of competition in Novice classification with the most outstanding record of performance. Past Recipients

Volunteer of the Year – The Volunteer(s) of the Year Award is awarded to an individual or individuals who has given outstanding service to the sport as a volunteer. Past Recipients

The Rusty Robertson MBE Award for Services to Rowing - The Rusty Robertson MBE Award is awarded to an individual or group of individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to the endeavours and objects of the Association. Past Recipients

The Kevyn Webb OAM Achievers Award – Rowing NSW may, at its discretion, award a suitable award from time to time known as the “The Kevyn Webb OAM Achievers Award” to an individual or club who, in the opinion of the RNSW Board has accomplished major advances in the sport. Past Recipients

The Governor’s Cup for Para Rowing - Awarded to an individual who has in the opinion of the board made a significant and sustained contribution to the sport of Para Rowing in NSW. Past Recipients

The President’s Award for Para Rowing - Awarded to an individual athlete who has in the opinion of the board made an outstanding and inspirational contribution to the sport of Para Rowing in NSW. Past Recipients
