SIRC water quality update | 2024 NSW Masters Championships
Published Thu 23 May 2024
Following 2 consecutive tests on 17 and 20 May 2024, the water quality at SIRC has been downgraded to AMBER alert. This means the 2024 NSW Masters Championships will proceed as per the venue and health advice. Rowing is regarded as a secondary contact activity and is approved by SIRC to proceed. Mitigation actions will be implemented as required.
If the pontoon walkways on the back lake remain submerged, we will have clean water on each pontoon to rinse with after putting your boat on the water and before embarking for races.
Further updates will be posted here and via our socials.
