Published Fri 05 Mar 2021

Rowing NSW is pleased to confirm that spectators will be able to attend the 2021 Schoolboy Head of the River and 2021 Schoolgirl Head of the River respectively.

All spectators must comply with the below restrictions imposed by NSW Health and Rowing NSW and have a valid ticket to gain access to the venue on the day. Spectators will be ticketed to the Southern Bank (same side at parking at the venue).

  • Spectators ticketed to the Southern Bank must stay within this area and are not allowed to freely roam or cycle up the course or to the island.
  • Food and Amenities will be made available to this area. Bench seating is also available, but patrons may wish to bring camp chairs for their own seating.
  • NO BBQs will be allowed to be used.
  • One ticket per person. Anyone found to be buying multiple and excessive tickets will have tickets cancelled.
  • If your school wishes to set up a marquee on the Southern Bank for spectators, permission must be granted by Rowing NSW. Please contact Olivia Bartram at olivia@rowingnsw.asn.au.

Please note that tickets to the NSW Schoolboy Head of the River will not give you access to the AAGPS Head of the River in the morning of Saturday 13th March or vice versa. Spectator tickets for Saturday 13th March will be valid from 1:00pm onwards. Spectator tickets for the NSW Schoolgirl Head of the River will only be valid for this event on Sunday 14th March.

Tickets go onsale from 9:00am Monday 8th March.  To purchase your ticket, please click the relevant events below.
