Sport NSW | Fast Track for Female Coaches

Published Mon 06 Sep 2021

Rowing NSW is delighted to announce our support of the Sport NSW Fast Track for Female Coaches initiative, which is an intensive coaching and leadership course for females on a coaching career path.

Fast Track for Female Coaches aims to connect aspiring female coaches, provide exclusive insight and further develop their coaching and leadership behaviours and competencies whilst building capability and readiness as they fast track through the coaching talent pathway.

The course is open for any aspiring female coaches who:

  • Would like to develop skills beyond the technical and tactical.
  • Aspires to transition in to elite sport coaching.
  • Currently has a minimum level one qualification.

In conjunction with our Coach Her Way program the Sport NSW initiative will endeavour to maximise your impact as a coach across all aspects. Rowing NSW recognises the importance of coaching development within the rowing community, particularly in the female ranks.

As a means of providing continued support and ongoing opportunities for women in coaching positions Rowing NSW will cover the cost of the course for those RNSW coaches that are official RNSW members and level 1 rowing coaches that are selected to the program.

Places are strictly limited so please don't delay in submitting your application.
Register your interest through the Sport NSW website.
