St. George Rowing Club votes YES to constitution changes

St. George Rowing Club wants to sincerely thank all the rowers and supporters who voted YES last night (Monday 29 October 2018) to constitution changes at the clubs Special Resolution Meeting at Wolli Creek.  Your YES vote will ensure rowing remains a priority and effectively shuts the door on any future takeover attempts.

The St. George Rowing Club was overwhelmed by the support from the rowing community and the turnout last night.  For the last three months, so many people from other Sydney based rowing clubs, Rowing NSW, Rowing Australia, as well as rowing family members and friends have all offered their support in so many ways.  

As Captain, on behalf of all current and future St. George rowers, I want to personally thank everyone for their contribution and offer of help.  It was a defining moment in our clubs history. St. George Rowing Club is grateful to be part of such a strong and caring rowing community.
