SUBC welcomes school and junior rowing members to join us over the winter period for our Winter Program 2023. SUBC prides itself on inviting young rowers to join and developing them ahead of their return to school for the 2023/24 season, without impacting on their commitment to school rowing once they return.

In 2023 SUBC won the Club Point score Championship Australian Rowing  Championships, demonstrating a robust thriving club that focuses on performance at every level.

SUBC's Winter Program ensures no one paddles unsupervised and there is always a coach present to help athletes improve. The focus is always on technical proficiency rather than performance.

• High-quality technical coaching from SUBC U21 Development Coaches and winning First VIII school coaches.
• A heavy focus on having fun, meeting new like-minded athletes, and feeling refreshed in rowing prior to heading back to school

• Race / Training camp opportunities. Northern NSW training camp and regatta subject to interest.
*Please note, there will often be cancellations due to unforeseen events such as bad weather or COVID. The club does not offer refunds in these instances.
