Taree Summer Regatta | 13-15 January

First and foremost a huge congratulations has to go to all those at Port Macquarie Rowing Club and Manning River Rowing Club for putting on an exciting weekend of racing. The 3 day event held at the Manning River Rowing Club in Taree brought rowers of all age and skill levels from all around NSW. The highlight of the weekend as always is the Mixed 8 race, run in the lunch break of Saturdays racing. With prizes for the race valued at $5,500, thanks to the generous support of sponsors, Stacks Finance and Croker Oars. With UTS Haberfield extending its dominance on the event with its 6th victory in a row. Walking away with $1,500 + a $1,000 Croker Oars voucher. With Glebe Rowing Club and UNSW Rowing walking away with 2nd and 3rd. It was great to see the regatta back in its traditional New Year slot in the calendar after a few covid affected years and we look forward to seeing it for many years to come.
