Louis Petrin, rowing historian, will be opening up his residence to share some of the wide variety of rowing memorabilia and artifacts from around the world that he has collected over the years. This is a wide collection of rowing material that is well worth checking out. Some of the collections include;

  • Medals & Cups - Dating back to the 1860's
  • Prints
  • 1500 rowing based book collection
  • Doggett Coat & Badge 1880. Doggett's Coat and Badge is the prize and name for the oldest rowing race in the world.
  • Pineapple Cup memorabilia dating back to 1908
  • Presentation Oar to Charles and Steve Fairbairn from approximately 1869 & 1885
  • 50th Year Certificates for Union of Rowers [12:00pm]
  • Scott Patterson to show Henley Peace Regatta Centenary documentary
  • and many other items

 

The viewing will be available from 10:30am-2:30pm on Sunday 9 December 2018 at Unit 9/56 Buffalo Road, Gladesville, NSW. 
Tea & coffee is available and a gold coin donation is requested upon entry.
