Trophies for Women's Events - NSW Rowing Championships

On the eve of the 2023 NSW Rowing Championships, Rowing NSW is pleased to announce the purchase of 5 new Female Championship Trophies. RNSW Board member Deanna Fekete has worked tirelessly to put this together for this weekend. With Rowing NSW seeing an imbalance that needed to be rectified with imbalance in male/female championship trophies. We would like to thank all those who have donated to the womens trophy fund. 

    
Ellen Randell Cup - CWE 1X
Ellen has been a national team coach for over 2 decades in what has been a male dominated field. She has success at every level including multiple World Championship medals. Current coach at the National Women's Training Centre.

Rowing Australia Annual Report 2005–2006   

Elizabeth Kell & Brooke Pratley - CWE 2X
Fittingly named after the first all NSW crew to win a World Championships Gold, in 2006 in the Double Scull.
Olympedia – Gillian Campbell   
Gillian Campbell Trophy - CWE 4X
Gillian Campbell Trophy named after the 1992 Olympian who rowed in an all NSW double scull with Jenny Luff. Gillian help found the Pymble Ladies College rowing program at Leichhardt. With the program now a perennially national powerhouse.

Trophies have also been purchased for the CWU21 8+ and the CWE 2- and are still to be named
