Vale - Colin Charters | Newcastle Rowing Club

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Colin Charters, aged 84 years.  

Colin was a long time member of Newcastle Rowing Club and was well known for his work as a Boat Race Official, particularly in the Central Districts region.

He was also well known for his work capturing the history of Newcastle Rowing Club.  His book, Just Add Water, The Times and Tides of Newcastle Rowing Club Incorporating a Brief History of Competitive Rowing in the Hunter Region was published through Seaview Press in 2009 and is now available on Australian Rowing History.
