Vale - Ken Griffin | Drummoyne Rowing Club

Published Tue 28 Mar 2023

We are saddened to advise of the passing of Ken Griffin, aged 92 years after a long illness.

Ken joined Drummoyne Rowing Club in 1997 and was a regular competitor in masters competition until the end of the 2012-2013 season when he retired from racing just shy of his 83rd birthday.  Often spotted with a smile, he always enjoyed his time in the sport and that rubbed off on those around him.

Ken was also a significant contributor to the sport as a volunteer and regularly assisted at regattas at SIRC.
