Rowing NSW is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Peter Crawford.
A Partner at Sydney accountancy firm VJ Ryan and Co., Peter served as Auditor for the NSW Rowing Association for more than a decade until 2011.

Peter was a board member with Rowing Australia from 2000-2007 and given his finance background was a natural fit as the Director of Finance from 2001-2007. His involvement came through his daughters' rowing careers. Erin was a 3-time member of the NSW Women's Youth Eight from 1998-2000 and won the event in 1999, while Megan represented NSW twice in that event in the winning 2002 crew and also a runner up in 2003. Peter's support continued with VJ Ryan a long time sponsor of the NSW Rowing Association. He was also a regatta volunteer, most notably at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
