2023 WINTER ROWING PROGRAM EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Leichhardt Rowing Club Winter Program will run from Sunday 28th May to Sunday 13th August. This program will provide on water training that will be announced closer to the start date. The LRC Winter program focuses on improving your rowing skills in the boat and with to develop you as an athlete. The Program will be headed up by LRC Junior Head Coach Isaac Shepherd and will be assisted by LRC coaches.
Ken joined Drummoyne Rowing Club in 1997 and was a regular competitor in masters competition until the end of the 2012-2013 season when he retired from racing just shy of his 83rd birthday. Often spotted with a smile, he always enjoyed his time in the sport and that rubbed off on those around him.
