Northern Rivers Age Championships & Tweed Heads Regattas | Change of Venue

The location of the Northern Rivers Rowing Association Age Championships and the Tweed Heads and Coolangatta Rowing Club Regattas has changed to the Clarence River, Grafton (Prince Street).   Murwillumbah Rowing Club are continuing to work towards a boating solution suitable for regattas to return to the Tweed River at Murwillumbah.  The boating area at the club was severely eroded during the floods of last season and is currently not suitable for hosting regattas of this size.

Notice Regarding Reviewable Decision - Changes to the Laws of Boat Racing

Further to the Notice to Constituent Members of 22 December 2022 regarding the Reviewable Decisions made by the Board of Rowing NSW over the period of 9 December 2022 to 18 December 2022 with respect to changes to the Laws of Boat Racing, the time for objections to the Decision has now expired.

Reviewable Decision - Changes to the Laws of Boat Racing

Via emailed circular resolution over the period of Friday 9th December to Sunday 18th December, the Board of Directors of Rowing NSW resolved that the following Rowing NSW Laws of Boat Racing be amended as shown here.

NSW Union of Rowers - Scholarship Club

The NSW Union of Rowers Youth Development Fundraiser for 2023 in support of the Union's Youth Development Scholarships is now open. The most significant activity of the Union of Rowers is the ongoing support the Union gives to promising young NSW athletes each year. In 2022 the Union awarded six scholarships of $1,000 each, making 170 scholarships awarded since the scheme commenced in 1992.
