A big weekend and huge congratulations to all the New South Wales athletes and crews who competed at the 2019 Aon Sydney International Rowing Regatta. Day 7 saw 9 NSW athletes and crews podium finish in 10 events, including 5 gold medals and 4 silver medals.

Rowing NSW have teamed up with Queenscliff Surf Life Saving Club to engage with the wider Sydney community and introduce the sport of indoor rowing to members of the Northern Beaches community.
The North Coast Academy of Sport recently conducted their second testing camp of 2018 for scholarship athletes based at Lower Clarence RC over the weekend of 9-11th November, lead by John Kincade (director of NCAS) with the assistance of RNSW Sport Development Officer, Alan Bennett.
Thank you to everyone involved in making the 2018 Rowing NSW Reindeer Regatta and the 2018 Sprint Championships a memorable weekend. Aside from the late change in weather on Sunday, the weekend included some fantastic racing and great weather.
Congratulations to Katrina Davis and Chloe Congdon who were successful applicants chosen to be involved in the 2019 Women Leaders in Sport program, announced on Sunday by Minister for Sport Bridget McKenzie and Minister for Women Kelly O’Dwyer. Six women from the national rowing community were chosen to take part in the program from across three states and Rowing Australia.Â
